Spring Break

Spring break may have been the greatest week of my entire life... never before has spring break been so incredibly necessary, and so relaxing.

I went to Billings, Montana to visit old Memphis friends, and spent 4 days reading books for pleasure, hanging out with their family, hiking, doing this...

and soaking all day in this

(a natural hot springs... although you can't tell, the water is about 105 degrees. I got that picture from the internet, it was definitely 35 and snowy the day we went.)

I felt like I was millions of miles, and hundreds of years, away from Memphis. It was fantastic.

Elijah: "Mom, what's a Jedi?"

Shelly: "It's like a good fighter... a good guy who fights evil and stands up for people who can't stand up for themselves. You know, Elijah, that's what God asks us to do to..."

Elijah: GASP! "God wants me to be a Jedi???"
