Valentine's Day

One of my students brought me chocolate covered strawberries that her mom made for me!

I finished at school earlier than I ever have (2:25 I was outta there).

My lovely aunt replenished my classroom snack supply for the kids for tutoring after school.

Rode my bike to Republic Coffee (wearing Chacos and my favorite shirt) and sat outside until it got too chilly in the shade, at which point I went inside and had a BLT.

Watched a movie with some chili lime popcorn.

Did I mention it was 65 degrees today?

Made my roommate a surprise :)

All in all... a great day. Days like this keep me going-- not because anything great happened at school, or I changed someone's life (although hopefully I did), but--

because I felt alive.

Thank you, Lord, for days when I feel alive.
