You know you teach in a highly transient school when...

every Friday you grade a stack of quizzes the students took (while you weren't at school... we have MTR stuff on Fridays instead of teaching) and every single week there is a name on a quiz you don't recognize-- because we got yet another new student... i.e. "Who the heck is Bertha??"
