I have decided to start a series, if you will, on my blog entitled "Things Middle Schoolers Say." (If you can suggest a more creative title, please do...)

Today's gem, discovered in a "story" that a female student wrote using her science vocabulary words.

"There once was a girl named Albenisha. She was smart as a tick."

Because ticks are SO smart.
