The countdown begins...

A week from Monday I will have real, live students sitting in front of me.

Suddenly I am terrified.

We just finished a training called "Capturing Kids' Hearts." Cheesy as it may sound, it was fantastically practical advice on how to really engage your students, communicate well with them, listen actively, and launch them on to future success.

It was practical. I have a whole book full of "what to do."

And yet, I'm terrified!

I think I would love to just fast forward a week and get that first day over with.
